When news in iconic performer’s death began tickling out, scores of people turned to Web for news. The massive level of interest caused the site to temporarily go down but that did not stop the news spreadin via blogs and social netorking sites. As other news turned their attention to story as the public took to web to learn more about performer’s condition, some site began slowing down. Some google users complained the search engine’s news area was inaccessible for a time.
